This program will equip the students to understand counselling skills better and adapt them. This program also give scope to the students to understand different disorders better. Important elements like termination are also being introduced and worked upon in this program.

For external students, course materials are sent by email. If necessary, online doubt clearing is also provided. However, these students must be present in Ranchi to take their Final / Annual Examinations. Students who choose to study External (Self Study) are usually working professionals. The University allows them to take multiple Exams in one day to save their time. Students are given sample Exam papers to help them prepare for the Exams.

Master of Science in Psychology (MSc. Psychology is a full-time program for two years that offers students the perfect combination of theory and practical experience. They are able to work in specialized and applied psychology fields. This course gives students the skills and qualifications to become Psychologists. The Masters program teaches students theory, research, and practice. It provides a holistic and systematic approach to understanding human behavior.
